NailZen days at Bag of Bones Barkery are a sensory experience for pets and their guardians aimed at transforming the stress and anxiety normally felt during nail trims and grinds. Using gentle, all-natural supplies combined with specially tuned sounds and music, calming aromas as a caring, sensitive touch, your pets can experience these essential, but sometimes unnerving, grooming services in a more relaxed way!
All services are administered by Marcia Minunni, former owner of Spike and Spats Mobile Grooming Salon, the second Saturday of each month from 10am - 1pm (hours and dates may change on/around major holidays) in our store.
Dogs and cats are welcome for nail trims, nail grinds, all-natural ear cleanings and pad fur trims. Available a la carte or in money-saving packages.

* Given social distancing requirements in place in New Jersey, please be aware of the following changes to upcoming NailZen operations for everyone's safety:
YOU MUST CHECK IN AT THE REGISTERS WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Please proceed to the registers when you arrive and look for the NailZen registration station to check in for your arrival time. We will give you a service card and ask that you social distance in the store, outside or in your vehicle. If you choose to stay in your vehicle, we will ask for a phone number to call you when it's your turn. However, all guests must stay ON SITE for NailZen. If you leave the store or parking lot, you will be skipped, and we will only be able to get you back in line when there is no wait.
YOU MUST WEAR A MASK
In accordance with NJ executive orders, you must wear a face mask/covering at all times while you are inside of our store.
PLEASE BOOK AN ARRIVAL TIME FOR EACH PET ATTENDING
To alleviate bottlenecks, it's helpful to Marcia to know how many pets will be attending NailZen events. So, please be sure to book an arrival time for EACH pet you're bringing with you on event day.
YOU ARE BOOKING AN ARRIVAL TIME, NOT AN APPOINTMENT.
We ask you to book an arrival time in order to make social distancing easier and to reduce your wait time as much as possible. Please understand that the time you've booked is an arrival time, NOT an appointment. We're asking that you arrive sometime within this timeframe. Please understand there may still be a wait when you arrive, but we'll keep it as short as possible. Simply check-in upon arrival, and we'll be sure to give you the next available number based on the arrival time you booked. Also note that arriving well before your booked time does not mean you'll be admitted early, as we have other guests booked before you.
A VALID CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED TO HOLD YOUR ARRIVAL TIME.
To avoid 'no call / no shows' at these very popular events, a credit card number will be required when booking your arrival time. Your card will NOT be charged when you book; it is just to hold your time. We require at least 24 hours notice to change or cancel your arrival time. If you do not show up for your booked arrival time without notifying us or making alternate arrangements, your card will be charged $15 to cover the time lost by the service provider. Please only book an arrival time if you intend on coming as scheduled.
YOU MAY BE ASKED TO SEPARATE FROM YOUR PET.
Again, due to social distancing guidelines, Marcia is asking that you allow her to trim your pet's nails as the only person in the room during your appointment. In certain cases, she may ask for your assistance in holding and/or comforting your pet. In such situations, please see the mask requirement above. However, you should attend NailZen with the expectation that you will leave your pet with Marcia for his/her services.
