Merry Meals & Desserts

At Bag of Bones Barkery, we're proud to partner with some of our local shelters and rescue organizations to bring a taste of home to shelter pets who don't yet have a home of their own. 

Each meal and/or dessert you donate provides a wholesome, homemade 8oz meal and/or a dogalicious, seasonal dessert to a local dog or cat currently cared for by one of our local shelters or rescue partners. We make all meals and cakes here at the Barkery, and we'll handle delivering them or having them picked up by volunteers.  We will handle distributing the meals and cakes to the organizations based on need so that all pets get to enjoy the food.

And of course you can preorder meals for your own pets at the same time! We have these same meals available in the store's freezers, as well, so you're welcome to come in and shop from our in-store inventory at your convenience. However, we cannot guarantee in-store availability at any time -- particularly closer to the holiday. So, to guarantee a meal for your pet, we recommend preordering by Dec. 17 and picking up in-store on Dec. 23 or 24.

We are not responsible for meals that are not picked up before we close at 4pm on Wed, Dec 24, and we cannot guarantee the availability of in-store meals for pickup at any time - especially the week leading up to Thanksgiving. Please DO NOT assume we will have premade meals available in the store. To guarantee a meal for your pets, please place a preorder. 

We cannot and will not sell meals that have been preordered and paid for by other customers to any walk-in customers. Meals/cakes cannot be donated to a specific rescue. We collect donations until there are enough for every dog at ever shelter; by donating, you're helping EVERY animal receive a special meal and dessert, so there is no need to purchase for any particular rescue partner.
